wah, wah, wah...

after all of the heart ache and financial ache of adding a kitchen to our lovely home so that we might have some lovely rommates, i had to dump this horrible news on our landlords. O found that the bottom of the entire east wall of our bedroom is covered in black mold. he didn't notice until after he started cleaning how bad the problem really is, so we were only able to get a couple pictures. it's awful. they are coming over to assess the damage tonight. it makes me want to cry.

i don't sleep so well these days. reason being -

so, i finally got out of bed at 6:30 this morning to blow my nose (which is incredibly stuffed) and make lists!

we now have measurements and ideas for everything ikea related and a working model for how to best spend my fred meyer gift card. anatomist will be proud of me next time we try to buy anything there. :)

i should also mention that i don't own a netty pot, but i utilized the technique this morning for the first time in my life and WOW, is that productive?! i'm sold.
